I have four of these eggs now, one super-soft small Dragon Egg, another soft one, one Lava Egg and a medium super-soft Dragon. I bought the first set on a whim but these quickly became my favorite toys. I think I'll end up ordering a set of extra-small ones as well.
They are an absolute pleasure to look at, play around with and keep inside you. The modeling is great and the colors are vibrant and saturated. They are on open display in my room and so beautiful that I often just pick one up to hold while I do other stuff.
Soft firmness is pleasantly squishy while still giving a bit of resistance. Medium firmness is already pretty firm, I personally wouldn't want it any firmer. Super Soft is so cotton-candy-gummy you almost expect it to dissolve inside you, and it's a breeze to insert without preparation you'd normally need for a toy that size.
Retrieval is equally easy even without a chain, though that's understandably recommended against. I got one of mine with one to test but have by now clipped it. That said, I wouldn't insert one of the firmer ones without a chain if it's larger than what you can comfortably take.
At least in my case the S-sized Dragon Eggs are a little smaller in diameter than the Lava Eggs even though the site has them both at the same size.
Absolutely wonderful toys. I'm enthusiastic to have these in my collection.
